SAY HELLO TO JIO

Jio was launched in 2016, as a pan India telecom company betting on the 4G LTE platform. By 2018 Jio became one of the leading telecom service provider in India, with 200 million + subscribers.
During the pivotal period from 2014 to 2017, I was an integral part of the team that spearheaded Jio's journey in establishing itself as a digital brand. It was one of a kind experience to see birthing of a brand on a never before scale, and got the opportunity to wear multiple hats.

MY ROLE

BRAND BUILDING
Develop and manage brand guidelines across hardware & packaging for Jio.


BRAND GOVERNANCE

Ensure creative consistency of brand elements & instruments in sync with the master Brand Book. Compliance of  UI/UX design language across Jio devices & drive innovation.


PACKAGING DESIGN

Design for all Jio hardware, Packaging, QSG's, Labels & sim kit.


DEVICE BRANDING

Develop & define branding to be put on devices, both consumption and connectivity devices


SUB BRANDS

Define LYF as a LTE mobile phone brand, create brand guidelines and Filters for Hardware selection.

USER TESTING

Ensuring a pre and post test of the concepts for products and user experience & Lead Design workshops and brainstorming sessions

DESIGN EVANGALIST

Spread brand & design beyond Marketing as a org wide sensibility
